krishi yantra anudan: The Agriculture Department of the Government of Bihar is giving subsidy (grant) on the purchase of agricultural machinery (krishi yantra anudan) for the current financial year to increase crop production and productivity through agricultural machinery in the state. So that farmers of all classes can take advantage of these machines and get good yields in less time.
Mostly it has been seen that due to the economic weakness of the farmers, the use of machines in agriculture is decreasing, considering which the government is giving subsidy (grant) on agricultural machines (krishi yantra anudan). Along with doing their own farming, farmers benefiting from agricultural machinery will give agricultural machinery to other farmers of the village on a reasonable rent.
To get this subsidy on these krishi yantra instruments, the farmers of Bihar should first go to Bihar DBT. (Bihar DBT) will have to register in D.B.T. After registration, farmer brother has to apply online to avail the benefits of Krishi Yantra Anudan.

Dealer and manufacturer will have to write maximum retail price on agricultural machinery for krishi yantra anudan
After limiting the grant on agricultural machinery, the Bihar government has made preparations to stop fraud in it. Be it the equipment manufacturer or dealer, the maximum retail price (MRP) will have to be written on all agricultural equipment. For this, the Agriculture Department has sent a letter to all the equipment manufacturers and distributors. Also said that if the MRP is not marked, then that company will be removed from the list of krishi yantra anudan.
Agriculture Director Rajeev Roshan has written a letter to all the manufacturers and dealers instructing them to put the price of the machine in bold letters on each of their machines. The writing should be clear so that the farmer can read it. Apart from this, they will also have to give this information on JAM portal and OFMAS . If selling online, then MRP will have to be shown on all the sites. Now it will not happen that the price is different for those who buy equipment on subsidy and something different for those who buy without subsidy from the market.
This racket of equipment dealers is going on in the state for years. Whether a farmer bought machinery from the market or took a grant from the government, the cost of both was almost equal. In this whole mess, there was also the connivance of the agricultural officers sitting in the districts. If someone raised such a question, then they had an excuse that dealers evade tax on buying directly and selling through government with subsidy, then they are not able to evade tax. But, in the new system, be it a dealer or a manufacturer, they will neither be able to cheat the government nor the farmers. They will have to sell the machine at one rate in any case. For this, they have to mark MRP on all the instruments.
Subsidy on equipment will not be more than 50 percent
The state government has stopped the state scheme of krishi yantra anudan subsidy on agricultural machinery this time. But the plan of the Center is still going on. Along with this, the grant of any instrument in the new system will not be more than 50 percent. Up to 80 percent subsidy can be given on some equipment related to stubble management, but the permission of the department will also have to be taken for that. Earlier, the government used to give subsidy up to 90 percent on many instruments. Therefore, even after reducing the subsidy of the government, the farmers will not face loss now.
